Recycle Your Compact Flourescent Bulbs at the Market
The Wake Forest Farmer's Market has coordinated with the Wake County recycling program to offer a collection site for Compact Fluorescent lamp bulbs(CFL's). These bulbs, though being very efficient and long lasting, are serious threat to the environment unless they are disposed of properly. That means they should be taken to the HazMat recycling center on the first Saturday of every month at the Durant Road landfill. Most people find this option very inconvenient and also very wasteful if this means a special trip to the recycling center. Now they have the opportunity to bring their unbroken bulbs to the Wake Forest Farmer's Market where we see that they are sent to the company in charge of disposal of these lamps. http://www.wakegov.com/recycling/default.htm North Wake Solid Waste Management Facility FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
