The Wake Forest Farmers' Market is located on the west side of South White Street in historic downtown Wake Forest, North Carolina. The market is in the municipal parking lot with the gazebo, between 110 and 150 South White Street.
From Raleigh and the south, go north on US 1 (Capital Blvd.) past the 98 By-Pass (past Lowe's, Staples, and Home Depot) to Hwy 98 (Business), also known as Durham Road. Turn right to take 98 east for 2 miles, past the seminary and through the traffic circle. At the light, turn right to go under the railroad bridge and then take the first right on South White Street. The market is up the hill on the right.
From east of Wake Forest, take Hwy 98 to where it splits into 98 (Business) and 98 (By-Pass). (Get off the bypass, which would take you to US 1). Turn right on 98 (Business) into downtown Wake Forest. Go past the Hardees, and at the last light before the railroad bridge, turn left onto South White Street. The market is up the hill on the right.
From north of Wake Forest, take US 1 south, to Hwy 98 (Business), which is the first exit for Hwy 98. Turn left, go under US 1, and then take 98 east for 2 miles, past the seminary and through the traffic circle. At the light, turn right to go under the railroad bridge and then take the first right on South White Street. The market is up the hill on the right.
From Durham and the west, take Hwy 98 (Wake Forest Road) east, for 2 miles past US 1. You will pass the seminary and go through the traffic circle. At the light, turn right to go under the railroad bridge and then take the first right on South White Street. The market is up the hill on the right.
The market opens April 7th, 2007, and will be open every Saturday, from 8am to noon, through October.
